FROM OUR PROJECT COLLECTIONCompare the preparation before comparing the finish
A restoration scope may include repairing seams or flashing, removing wet material, preparing the surface and applying a compatible primer where required. Ask how the selected system's application conditions and thickness requirements are represented in the estimate. Drains and penetrations deserve explicit treatment because they are part of the roof being restored. If additional damage is discovered before application, request an updated work description and price. Comparing only the coating material or roof area leaves out the preparation that can determine whether two proposals are actually describing the same project.
