FROM OUR PROJECT COLLECTIONMake preparation visible in the estimate
Necessary roof repairs come before the broad coating application. The work can include addressing wet material, seams, flashing and roof details, followed by the cleaning or primer specified for the system. Ask which of these tasks is included and how any further damage will be approved.
Application conditions and thickness come from the chosen manufacturer’s instructions. The estimate should account for those requirements without substituting a vague coat count for the complete specification. Drainage concerns also need an explicit response; coating the surface does not necessarily change where water collects.
