FROM OUR PROJECT COLLECTIONTreat new preparation findings as a scope decision
The estimate should describe known repairs, cleaning, primer where required and preparation of seams, flashing and penetrations before application. If that work exposes wet or damaged roofing, ask for the new findings and whether the roof remains suitable for the selected restoration. Additional removal or repairs may change the price and project description. Document those changes before the application proceeds. Also ask how the chosen product's application conditions and thickness requirements are reflected in the work list. The coating name alone does not describe the preparation needed to deliver the proposed system.
