FROM OUR PROJECT COLLECTIONCompare tile reuse with new material assumptions
If the underlying layers need broader work, ask whether suitable existing tiles can be lifted and reset as part of the project. Their condition, matching availability and the installation plan affect that option. The estimate should identify assumed reuse, replacement material and how unsuitable tiles found during removal would be handled. For a new system or change of covering, ask how tile, underlayment, fastening and flashing will work together on the building. Product appearance is one decision, but the complete assembly and required project information need to be clear before the proposal is accepted.
